When The View‘s signature theme music began to play this morning, we saw Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin walk out on to the stage, but we were missing one of our favorite co-hosts: Joy Behar.

Behar, who was absent yesterday, was nowhere to be found once again this morning. And we certainly missed her one-liners and feisty spirit at the Hot Topics table.

Where is Joy Behar today? Was Joy Behar fired?

Behar was thankfully not fired, but she was out sick again for this morning’s episode. Goldberg shared the news with viewers at the top of the show, saying, “Joy is out again today. We want her to get back and feel better.”

Her announcement comes one day after Goldberg first shared Behar was feeling under the weather. While addressing Wednesday’s (May 22) enthusiastic studio audience, she said, “Joy is out sick today, but we’ll let her know you love her too.”

Goldberg then shared a message just for her co-host, saying, “Feel better, Joy, and get your behind back here!”

When will Joy Behar be back on The View?

Since Behar isn’t feeling well, it’s hard to say exactly when she’ll be back on the show. In the meantime, we’re hoping she feels better soon!
